Our lawn care fertilization features liquid Green County Fertilizer, a fertilizer that has a wealth of macro and micronutrients and is human, pet, and environmentally friendly.

1. In early March

Right at winter’s end, is the perfect time to start with an application of custom blended fertilizer. This early nourishment gives it a jump start on growing, making it naturally more weed-resistant. A pre-emergent crabgrass weed control product is also laid down to prevent these early-growing weeds from gaining ground.

2. In later spring

Another round of pre-emergent and a weed control product that combats a variety of invaders that start to sprout as the weather becomes warmer, including dandelions, clover and other broadleaf weeds.

3. As summer approaches

It is important to keep the lawn nourished to protect it against the stress of the hotter temperatures. Slow release summer fertilizer is applied to feed the lawn over the summer.  Additionally, we start to spot treat for any grassy weeds that may pop up including crabgrass and nutsedge. This is also the time that we apply our optional grub control to protect your lawn from their devastating effects.

4. By middle to late summer

Summer weeds are the main target here.  We will treat for weeds including dandelion, clover, crabgrass nutsedge and others.

5. In early fall

We apply another round of slow release fertilization. This is vitally important because your turf is stressed coming out of the summer heat. Your lawn needs the vital nutrients supplied to provide the energy required to begin its fall recovery once the cooler temperatures arrive. It is at this time that we offer seeding options. We offer traditional overseeing as well as power seeding which is a far superior method of injecting new seed into your lawn.

6. When fall comes

The last application of weed control product to eliminate any broadleaf weeds that may have begun to sprout including dandelions, clover, and others.

7. Winterizer application of fertilizer

As we move towards winter and the grass no longer needs to be mowed we apply a generous amount of fertilizer to your turf. This is one of the most important things you can do for your lawn.
