The entire month of October is packed with Halloween activities around town for Louisville residents of all ages. The Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular: Held at Iroquois Park the entire month of October, you’ll find over 5,000 uniquely carved pumpkins glowing from 6:30 PM till 11 PM. You can enjoy this glowing walk with the entire family, and tickets support the non-profit Parks Alliance of Louisville.

The Great Pumpkin Night: Kick off October with a pumpkin-filled night! Pick out a pumpkin (and decorate it too!), followed by fall-themed food and drinks and a showing of Addams’s family. Adults can also enjoy 21+ beverages from West Sixth Brewing! Located at Pope Lick Park on October 8th from 8 PM to 11 PM, all proceeds will benefit Pumpkins for Patients.

Silver Screams at Paristown: Every Saturday at dusk in the Garden at Paristown a Universal Monster Movie will be featured! Admission is free for all.

Chili Cookoff: It isn’t officially the fall season until you enjoy some chili! Stop by Pope Lick Park on October 15th from 8 PM to 11 PM for the Pope Lick Chili Cookoff! Enjoy live music and a horror movie showing while you enjoy award-winning chili. Donate a canned food item and receive a BOGO deal on admission tickets.

Great Horror Night: A night filled with entertainment! The night will begin with a performance of Rocky Horror Show, followed by a silent horror art auction and a showing of Little Shop of Horrors. Located at Pope Lick Park on October 22nd from 8 PM to 11 PM. Purchase tickets in advance today!

Halloween Balloon Glow: Located at Lynn Family Stadium on October 27th and 28th will be hot air balloon trick or treating! Dress up and trick or treat between 10 hot air balloons! Admission is $15 per person and free for little ones under 2 years old.

Halloween Parade Festival: After a two-year hiatus, the Halloween Parade Festival is back! The parade is free to the public, and admission to the festival is $5 in advance or $10 the day of the event. The event will be held along Broadway and in the Paristown entertainment district from noon to 9 PM. Stop by for the parade, games, live music, food, and much more!

Pup-r Treat: On October 30th from 3 PM to 7 PM at Paristown, enjoy an evening of trick or treating designed just for your furry family members! Have your furry friend dress up and trick or treat their way through treats and toys. Enjoy a bite and cocktail as your walk your furry friend around! Admission for humans is free, pups get in for $5 in advance or $10 the day of the event – proceeds benefit local animal shelters.
