Treat Your Yard Space for Mosquitos
During prime mosquito season, female mosquitos lay hundreds of eggs that will hatch within two days and shortly after the adult breeding process begins. So the sooner you get mosquito control treatment on your outdoor greenery the better. It is better to be safe than itching your skin one the warmer weather hits and you end up with those dreadful red bums all over your body.
There are multiple approaches that people take to treat their yard space for mosquitos, but some common solutions out there are a waste of time and money. For example, bug zappers are a popular solution that many people use. However, although some zappers do kill female mosquitos, they generally are targeted to attract other insects such as beetles, moths, and other insects. When your yard is left untreated and filled with mosquitos, it can be highly dangerous in spreading diseases like Malaria and Zika Virus. At Four Seasons, we perform a special treatment on the shrubs, bushes, and trees within 50 feet of your home to cover all the grounds of your yard and protect against mosquitos and others alike.
Mosquito Control-Control More Than Just Mosquitos
Another major aspect of controlling your yard space for the upcoming warmer months is grub control. If you have noticed a problem with beetles during the early part of summer then discover dry patches of grass spread throughout your lawn, you most likely have grubs. Grubs are the larvae of several kinds of beetles including Japanese and June beetles, amongst others. They are white, C-shaped insects that feed on the matter in your soil, including grass roots. After these patches of grass have died, they form thatch which requires a liquid dethatching service to get rid of and allow your gross to grow back healthy.
The key to controlling grubs in your lawn is killing them off before they hatch. If you allow them to hatch during summer they will continue to feed and grow throughout the fall and winter months until the warm weather of spring returns and they will surface to the soil as beetles. We offer a preventative grub control service.
